KOREAN WAR

June 25, 1950 is a tragic day that shall never be forgotten in the minds of the Korean people. The day marks the beginning of the Korean War, a civil war that broke out between people of the North and South. A few months later, no fewer than 16 countries sent troops to help the South. Meanwhile, the Chinese and the Soviet Union decided to help the North. The war lasted for 3 years. Millions of people were killed or separated from their families.
